Group Coaching

"None of us is as smart as all of us."

Group Coaching

Group coaching is a dynamic approach to professional development that brings people together to learn, grow, and tackle challenges collaboratively. Unlike one-on-one coaching, group coaching leverages collective insights, encouraging participants to share experiences and build on each other's perspectives.

"Learning from other people is what music is all about." (Neil Young)

Group coaching is distinct from team coaching. With team coaching, a coach guides a team in working towards a common goal. By contrast, the aim of group coaching is the development of the individuals in the group. As such, group coaching is particularly well suited to professional development programs, in particular for leaders and emerging leaders.

Outcomes of Group Coaching

Research shows that group coaching has the potential to help leaders to build self-awareness, to improve understanding of organizational dynamics, and to develop the skills needed to navigate change.

One study of group coaching for South African woman managers found that "specific impacts of group coaching on leadership effectiveness were by increasing awareness of self and values; enabling learning through external input; enabling sharing and support through safety and a sense of direction." Another reports that "we find that group coaching improves self-awareness outcomes (reflective self-development, acceptance of self and others, proactivity at work) and employee engagement."

Our Approach

Our group coaching is rooted in the belief that the best learning happens through shared experiences. We emphasize peer-learning, dialogue, and practical application, ensuring that sessions are both reflective and action-oriented. We invite participants to engage in deep, meaningful discussions while gaining tools and strategies they can use immediately.
